Employment
Beginning July 2010 Endless Options Inc is blending both businesses into Employment Services. The Attic started in 1997 and EO Recycles, started in 2009, began as a way to create employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. The goal of the employment program is to provide inclusive employment for people with developmental disabilities. While neither business can support full time employment, several people with disabilities and without are employed in both businesses, under the umbrella of Endless Options. Both businesses are based on the idea of reduce reuse and recycle.
The Attic accepts used clothing and household good and sorts and then resells the items at our store located at 108 N Church Street in Fayette Mo. The store is open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and from 10am to 3pm on Saturday. We are able to provide people who donate useable goods with a receipt for tax purposes. All donations are tax deductable. People with developmental disabilities make up half of the work force in this business and we are looking to expansion that would bring additional employment opportunities. Current funding comes from sales, grants form Howard County Sheltered Services Board and other community donations.

EO Recycles was formed in 2009 to offer employment to people with developmental disabilities while offering an alternative to the citizens of Howard County for their recycling needs. This business employs several people with developmental disabilities doing a range of functions for the business. Specific tasks range from sorting recyclables to crushing cans and preparing other recyclables for either sale or other outlets, to assisting in picking up recyclables form our satellite drop off points all around the county and tracking the amounts gathered from each point. Funding is provided for this program from the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Mid Missouri Solid Waste Management District H, Howard County Sheltered Services Board, Fayette Area Common Fund, St Joseph Knights of Columbus and the sale of all metals and any other recycled goods. Expansion plans for this business are in the long range plan, but currently we are at capacity with the space available.
For the person looking for recycling drop off we offer drop off for metals at C&R grocery in Fayette, behind the post office in Armstrong and at the Casey's store in New Franklin. People also may bring their recyclables to the rear of our facility at 222 East Davis in Fayette. For more information call 660-248-5233 or email info@endlessoptions.org.
