The Attic Annex opened its doors in late November of 2015 shortly after completing the move of The Attic into our old location on the square at 108 N Church St. in Fayette. We knew that we were going to have much less space to display items, but we still wanted to be able to offer our customers a large selection and variety!
We found a second location at 205 N Main St. in Fayette and were able to hire a part-time staff to operate this additional store. We are now open Wednesday - Saturday 12 PM - 5 PM and by appointment at this location. The Attic is still open Monday - Friday 10 AM - 5 PM and Saturday 9 AM - 2 PM.
The Attic Annex offers a variety of items, something to suit every style and need. Check out some of the many unique items we have for sale. We have everything from clothing and accessories to furniture and more, so stop by and see us soon!
That is the collective number of years of experience in supporting people with developmental disabilities that came together for Brown Bag Lunch in January.
Brown Bag Lunch is a monthly "lunch and learn" that is hosted by Howard County Service Coordination for the county service providers. Most months the participants discuss rules and regulations, division directives, guidelines and procedures.
This month participants from Howard County Service Coordination, Endless Options, and the Braun Agency paused to take a moment to celebrate the New Year, look back at where we have been, and focus on where we are going. Together.
During discussion the group shared what brought them to work in the field. Answers varied but the overreaching theme was that most came for a college practicum or a job to get through college. Very few chose to make a career of working in this field. This field has a way of choosing us. We laughed at the shared moments of joy and agreed about the challenges that we face daily.
When you have that many years of experience in one place, great things can happen. And they are happening every day.
Funding and support for Endless Options, Inc is provided by The Missouri Division of Development Disabilities, The Howard County Sheltered Services Board, the Fayette Area Common Fund, the Fayette Area Community Trust, and private donations and fundraising efforts by the wonderful people of our community.
