We had so much fun Saturday at our 4th Annual Ability 5K! We had 76 people sign up of which over 50 people participated in the 5K. Our very own Susan Watring came in first place at 26:48. We still have some shirts left, if you would like one they are $20 each. Check out the pictures from the event:
Since we have several windows on the square at The Attic we decided to use the space in the best way possible during the month of March, to raise awareness of developmental disabilities and to promote our 2016 campaign!
Each team was tasked with designing a window that incorporated the following: 1. Our 2016 "Around the World" theme. 2. Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. 3. Our 2016 Campaign, "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - A Home for EO Recycles. As you can see, they each did an amazing job! Now comes the fun part, the competition. Each window will be judged by a panel of judges, but also by YOU, all you need to do is go to our Facebook Page (click here) and "like" your favorite picture, although we can tell you the pictures don't do the windows true justice. If you want to see them go by The Attic at 108 N Church St. and 112 N Church St. on the square in Fayette. Missouri Spring 2016![]() Welcome to Missouri, where spring weather runs hot and cold. Sometimes there is so much snow to hunt Easter eggs you have to be bold. Other days, you leave home in a sweatshirt Only to return dragging it in the dirt. In the morning there may be birds and flowers Then there could be floods in a few hours. We have good things coming too! Things like St. Patrick's Day, opening of baseball season, and the calves may even moo. Written by Maryssa, Bryan, and Melissa |
