Starting next week, May 9th, we will be in the home stretch of our fundraising campaign for the property purchase. We have a goal of $10,000, and our efforts in March got us 32% of the way there. By June 30th we hope to meet that goal.
We need your donations, large and small. No amount is too small. All donations are tax deductible.
Here’s a few ways you can donate:
EO Recycles is a civic partnership in that we serve the recycling needs of Howard County, not just Fayette. Recycling is for everyone.
EO Recycles is busy with keeping our current site across from the post office sorted, swept, and in good working condition. We hope everyone has heard the news that we are now able to sort and sell the recycling. We appreciate you continuing to bring us your recycling.
Meanwhile, work continues on the new site. Today we watched the demolition of the old house at the property where we hope to build. This is coupled with the process we have been going through with the city to change the zoning from residential to commercial and to gain approval for our conditional use. We are moving ahead full steam and very excited about our progress. Look for our upcoming ad on ways you can help.

We had so much fun Saturday at our 4th Annual Ability 5K! We had 76 people sign up of which over 50 people participated in the 5K. Our very own Susan Watring came in first place at 26:48. We still have some shirts left, if you would like one they are $20 each. Check out the pictures from the event:
